Properties/Actions
Indications
Corneregel is indicated in:
  • Corneal lesions
  • Supportive and post-treatment of all types of keratitiss, e.g. keratitis dendritica.
  • Scalds and burns
  • Dystrophic corneal diseases
  • Prevention and treatment of corneal damage in those who wear contact lenses
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Drug Interactions
If other eye products or eye ointment are being used concomitantly, an interval of 5 minutes should be observed between administration of the different medicaments, and Corneregel should be applied last.
Side Effects/Adverse Effects
Occasionally, symptoms of intolerance may occr.
Caution: Even when administered as indicated, this product may cause a transient blurring in vision and patients should exercise caution when driving vehicles or operating machinery.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Dosage & Administration
Unless otherwise prescribed and according to severity and manifestation of complaints, instil one drop into the conjunctival sac, 3-5 times or more frequently during the day and before retiring for the night.
Do not use while wearing contact lenses.
Any remaining contents should be discarded 4 weeks after opening of the tube.
