Properties/Actions
Vitamin C is utilized by the body to form and maintain intercellular material, for absorption and utilization of iron preparations, as well as, being necessary for the normal character of the cement substance of the vascular tissue. Vitamin C is also needed for th healing process and for enhancing organ resistance to infection.
Indications
  • Dietary deficiency known as scurvy
  • Promotes wound healing
  • Acute infectious fevers as influenza, rheumatic fever, and as prophylactic from common cold
  • In pregnant and lactating women
  • Dental caries, pyorrhea and bleeding gums
  • As an adjuvant in iron deficiency anemia

Dosage & Administration

Vitacid C effervescent tablets are dissolved in half a glass of water.
